It has been a busy semester so far and I am behind on the blog a bit. As the days get cooler, finally, I am itching to get back to the boat, which I still have not got to the new studio. The platform/cradle is built and now it is just a matter of organizing a crew of people to assist with the gentle and careful walking of the boat down the hallway to the freight elevator, keep her suspended while we elevate down to the main floor and then nest her onto the cradle. At least we don't have to dead-lift this one down two floors. Once she's on, its lifting her onto the truck and driving her to the studio where she will, and I say this with the utmost confidence, clean up nicely.  Meanwhile, I will just have to imagine my happy place.
