Small boat In A Big Pond
Cape Breton is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever experienced. Every day is different, and one can experience nearly all four seasons in one day. While it did not snow, it was 8 Celsius (48 Fahrenheit) one rainy yet still beautiful day. In this image, a small fishing boat, converted into a tour boat, takes people from Pleasant Bay out to see gray and harbor seals, finback, minke, and pilot whales.
From Gampo Abbey, the Shambala Buddhist Monastery, one could hear seals singing in the wee hours of the morning (before 5am).
