New Work: Finishline

Inspired by the process of materials, this work is constructed from the sandpaper used to smooth the lapstrakes on the Watermen boat. I also wore out the sanding pad on my rotary sander, so the sanding pad makes up one side of this form. Four carriage bolts with washers and wing-nuts hold all the paper to the sanding pad.
