Broken II

I have begun to assess the damage with the crash and my response to this untimely turn with this project. I feel pretty calm though disappointed. There is grief. So close to finishing. However, I am on the path of repairing, and I will just see what I can do to use this experience as part of the work. The lucky part of it, I guess, is that the transoms blew off in mostly whole pieces. I am replacing the stern transom because the break occurred right across the etch (this is the third stern transom). I think I can repair the bow transom and reattach it. The fractures are large but there is not that many of them. I do not think I can avoid their visual appearance in the project at this point. Some other learning will have to take place.
