Bow to the Transom
The bow transom is re-attached and sanding commences. Once the interior is sanded. I will flip the boat and sand the fractures/epoxy smooth on the exterior. I am making a "transom support" which will sandwich the glass transom between two doublers, one on the exterior, one on the interior. This will add a nice aesthetic, give the boat a visual unity. Both bow and stern transoms will have this extra support. I also got a tip from my friend Jonathan about securing the saw horses the boat was on. In hindsight, I feel like such a dunderhead because I should have thought of that in the beginning! This way they will no long tip (duh). In the meanwhile, I still am having issues with my hands after all the push to finish, so I have to do projects in between sanding. I am still making my fishing pole, so carving that is happening, and I made this little handle for the pole as well. The table in my shop does not stay clean very often right now. I do straighten up about once a week as I begin to lose where I put my tools.
