I am working fairly steady hours in the studio right now sanding and scraping the lapstrakes smooth. It is going very slowly yet I hope to have one side of the boat sanded by Tuesday. The difference between sanding Plexiglas and wood is that Plexiglas is harder. I begin with 80 grit paper then move to continually finer grits. EVERYTHING in the studio is covered in plastic dust, including the artist...That band-aid is covering a scrapper "tip o' the finger" cut that probably should have had a couple of stitches. It seems to be healing fine anyway.
